Wonderstruck with what is

Making art is a response to the mystery of being. It is a way to participate in creation. Through the process of making art I celebrate the weirdness, wideness, and wholeness of what is.

Most of my paintings are set in the night or at the edge of it, when the shadow of the earth unveils our terrestrial situation in the cosmos. The transition of light from day to night moves our bodies and minds to state shift. Between wakefulness and sleep strangeness is likely and beauty abounds.
